Using a battery-powered flowmeter
The FLOMIC FL5034 battery-powered ultrasonic flowmeter is designed to measure instantaneous flow , pressure and water consumption in the water, water and other industries according to ČSN – EN14154.
The flowmeter is delivered in a compact design with IP 68 protection.

With their technical capabilities and parameters, FLOMIC Ultrasonic Flow Meters are designed not only to measure consumption. The measurement principle also allows monitoring of water leakage and the state of water supply networks. By connecting the flow meters to the remote data transmission system, it is possible to measure water leakage even in large water mains.
Flowmeter FLOMIC design
The flowmeter consists of a control electronics which is battery-powered and is located on the sensor. The flowmeter is a welding device in which ultrasonic signals are located. Single-beam impulse method “transit-time” is used for flow measurement. This method evaluates the time of the ultrasonic signal passing between the probes. From this time, the flow rate [m3 / h] and the quantity [m3] are calculated.
